    The United States adds 30 GW of battery energy storage

    As of March 2025, the total installed capacity of battery energy storage in the United States exceeded 30 GW. In the first quarter of 2025 alone, it added nearly 1.6 GW, a year-on-year increase of 65%, benefiting from tax incentives and a decline in technology costs.
